It is available as a Certificate – 20 credits- and a Diploma- 60 credits. The structure is such that it is possible to take the Certificate and potentially follow this with the Diploma later on as the Certificate is one whole unit of the three unit Diploma. We feel this is an ideal opportunity for learners who have achieved a level 5 qualification previously to take the next step in an effective and staged way. 

The Certificate: Designed to provide a smaller bite sized qualification focussed on strategic management and leadership. It is one unit – Strategic Leadership and Management - where learners will explore strategic leadership and management in practice where ethics, diversity and performance management are important considerations, especially during times of uncertainty and volatility in operating markets. The learner will produce a 4000 word assignment from a structured plan and in addition, a CPD Plan for themselves. This Certificate will be delivered and assessed by skilled and specially selected members of our team.

The Diploma: Designed to further develop the learner once the Certificate is achieved or can be taken as a whole. It is designed to provide a focussed qualification in strategic management, leadership and change, with optional units that allow some specialisation. The optional units include Project Management- the Strategic Perspective, Strategic Management of Quality and Operations, Small Business Management- a Strategic Overview and The Role of Organisational Culture and Communication in the Delivery of an Organisation’s Strategy. The Diploma prepares learners to work as strategic managers and leaders and will be delivered and assessed by specific experienced staff on our team.
