Missing from Care
Numbers double since 2015
Children and Young People Nowhave recently reported that a total of 11,530 children went missing from care in 17/18 according to government figures. This has more than doubled since 2015. There were 70,250 missing incidents with nearly half of these coming from secure units, children's homes and semi independent living arrangements and 29% from foster placements.
